Property Overview
We offer a unique escape into nature with luxurious glamping tents that blend comfort and adventure just outside of Battle Lake, MN. Our six beautifully styled tents—each sleeping up to four guests—feature queen-sized beds, soft linens, plush cots, and cozy, curated furnishings.
Each site includes a personal picnic table and fire pit, along with simple comforts like electricity, a mini fridge/freezer, and a kettle with a French press for slow mornings.
Located just across from stunning Glendalough State Park, guests have easy access to lakes, beaches, and miles of scenic trails for biking, hiking, and paddling.
A shared luxury bathhouse with hot showers and clean restrooms ensures a comfortable stay—creating the perfect place to relax, unwind, and connect with those you love.

What are check-in and check out times?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Is the Grove family-friendly?
Very much so. We love hosting individuals, friends, couples, and families—all are welcome.
Do you allow pets?
We absolutely love furry friends, but to protect the peaceful atmosphere and ensure the comfort of all our guests (as well as local wildlife), we do not allow any pets on the property. Thanks so much for understanding!
Is there parking?
Yes, there is a designated parking area (please park only in marked spaces), along with carts to help transport your belongings to your tent.
How many people can each tent sleep?
Each of our tents includes a cozy queen bed. For parties of three or four, we provide plush cots with foam mattresses, sleeping bags, and pillows.

This setup ensures everyone has a comfortable and restful night under the stars!

What is included in the bathhouse?
Our shared bathhouse features:
- Two beautiful bathrooms with blow dryer
- Two private shower rooms with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided
- An outdoor sink for washing dishes and drinking water
- First Aid Kit
- Fire Extinguisher
The bathhouse is shared by all guests.
What should I bring?
- Cookware for cooking over the fire or your own camp stove (we provide a dish set for four, but you’ll need to bring all cooking essentials such as pots, pans, utensils, spatulas, etc.)
- Beach towels if you plan to swim
- Bikes or watercraft if you’re not renting them on site and want to explore
- Floaties if you want to float down the lazy river
Is there electricity in the tents?
Yes! Each tent includes power outlets — perfect for charging devices or plugging in small electronics.
How far apart are the tents?
Tents are spaced approximately 55–100+ feet apart and circle the bathhouse for a balance of privacy and convenience.
Is there firewood on site?
Yes, firewood is available for purchase. Each tent has a canvas bag labeled with your tent name to help transport wood. You can pay via cash or Venmo—we simply ask that you’re respectful and pay for what you use. Thank you!
Is there Wi-Fi?
We encourage guests to unplug and unwind — so while there is no public Wi-Fi, most cell carriers have good coverage here.
What is there to do in the area?
We are so lucky to be surrounded by nature, lakes, trails, and the charm of Battle Lake! How far away is the lazy river and how long does it take?
The lazy river is about 2 miles away inside Glendalough State Park. We usually have some floaties available, but we can’t guarantee availability, so we recommend bringing your own. The float typically takes 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on stops. During drier periods, you may need to walk your tube at times.
Can I rent the whole site for a group?
Yes — we love hosting groups! The Grove Glamping is a perfect setting for:

- Girls’ weekends

- Yoga retreats
- Small team or business retreats
- Fishing weekends
If you're interested in booking the entire site, please plan well in advance to ensure availability. Each tent must be booked individually on our website — our booking system does not allow multiple tents to be booked in one transaction. Do you host weddings?

How do I rent a bike?
Bike rentals are available right on-site through Galloping Goose Rentals. Simply scan the QR code located near the bikes — choose the Glendalough location — and select the bike you want to rent. It’s perfect for exploring park trails or biking into Battle Lake for ice cream or dinner!
How to rent watercraft nearby?
You can rent canoes, paddle boards, kayaks, rowboats, pedal boats, and hydro bikes just a mile up the road in Glendalough State Park through Galloping Goose Rentals. All watercraft rentals are located inside the park.
Can I bring an RV or pitch my own tent?
For the comfort and privacy of all guests, RVs and personal tents are not permitted at The Grove Glamping. Our beautifully furnished canvas tents are the only accommodations allowed on site.
Can I bring a camp stove?
Absolutely—just ensure it’s safe for use on picnic tables and won’t cause damage.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refunds are provided for cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in. Cancellations made between 14–29 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 14 days before check-in are non-refundable. Please note that we do not offer refunds for last-minute weather changes — glamping is an outdoor adventure, and our tents are cozy rain or shine!
